Tracy began working at the Veterinary Medical Group in 2007 as a Veterinary Assistant. She took a year off in 2016 to pursue her other interest of fitness. In March 2017 she came back to the clinics in the Practice Manager role. Tracy has a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University.
Tracy lives on a farm with her 4 dogs. Trevor is a Rottweiler mix, Ellie is a Mastiff, Cora is a Great Dane, and Trixie is a Jack Russell Terrier. They also have 3 cats, two horses, 2 mini ponies, and a small herd of goats! Needless to say her and her children are animal lovers! When she isn’t attending to her animals, Tracy enjoys working out at her gym and watching movies with her family.

Erin has always loved animals and always had pets growing up but didn’t think she would end up where she is today.
I am originally from a small town in southwestern Iowa. I have always loved working with animals and moved to Ames and then Des Moines with that love fueling my schooling and career path. In 2013, I completed a bachelor’s in Animal Science at Iowa State University. Just a little while ago, in 2018, I finished my associate’s in Veterinary Technology at Des Moines Area Community College and then became a registered technician (RVT) in the state of Iowa. Animal Medical Clinic and Animal Care Clinic West & Metro Cat Hospital have allowed me to do what I love with them since 2013. Throughout my life, I have worked with every species from pigs to sheep to alpacas to cattle and everything in between! Even through all of that, I have found that I prefer working with dogs and cats…and their people! I have three pets of my own: Barbossa (Barbar for short), a 3 year old black domestic longhair cat, Archer, a 2 year old gray and white domestic shorthair cat, and Eowyn (Wynnie for short), an 8 month old golden retriever. My husband of 2 years, Joseph, is an electrical engineer at a local company in Des Moines. When I’m not caring for my patients, you can find me reading, playing video games, or just being with my pets. My passion in the workplace comes from my desire to help my patients be healthy and happy in any way I can, whether this be from a little grooming (I love brushing out mats and find toenail trims satisfying), making our patients more comfortable (Fear Free practices at our clinics make me love my job even more!), or bonding with my patients and/or their people!
Staci is from Marshalltown, Iowa. She went to undergrad at Des Moines Area Community College for two years, where she received a scholarship to play on the women's golf team. After those two years, she finished her undergrad at Iowa State University where she received her Bachelor's in Animal Science.
Megan started working with us in June, 2016. She received her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from DMACC in May of 2016. While working with us she has formed an interest in animal nutrition and laboratory work. When not working at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching home improvement show, and cooking.
Hi! I am Christopher-Michael. A little about myself: I like sunset walks on the beach. I enjoy hiking with my puppy, Gabe. I’m very passionate about grooming. I make sure my clients are taken great care of. I want every one of my clients to leave my care happier than they walked in. I hope to see everyone again and again, over and over!
